My Mission
To Engage, Encourage and Empower each child, every day.
As a parent myself, I searched for high quality, age appropriate child care for my own two children. I wanted a place I felt confident they would always feel safe, loved and excited to spend time after school with their peers as they develop memories that will last a lifetime.
I decided in the end, that I would be thrilled to offer all of that and much more with education and experience running youth programs for non-profit organizations and as a group home childcare support worker for many years.
My goal, is to offer families individualized care for their children in a safe small group environment where they can learn at their leisure the importance of a positive attitude, respect for themselves and their peers, and to be proud of who they are. I aim to reinforce those skills and build confidence daily through collaboration and cooperative activities that are balanced with time for free play.
The daily structured timetable will include pick up at the school, park (weather permitting), snack time upon return, age appropriate activity, craft, or game using a variety of topics/themes, free time to play until parents arrive. PD days will follow a similar routine with two core periods of creative learning and two periods of free time, one in the am and one in the pm.
